Facebook has launched its new look and may soon be initiated to run aiming to make Facebook privacy-centric.
Currently, Facebook has had issues when it comes to privacy, Mark Zuckerberg has announced that the move will see it has addressed the issue despite it is not clear how the design approach might change the beleaguered company that reaches 2 billion people around the world, or if it’s just a new coat of paint.
“I know we don’t exactly have the strongest reputation on privacy right now, to put it lightly,” said Zuckerberg, acknowledging skepticism around the company.
The New Facebook will play more on design, groups, and an interesting messenger app that will include inviting others to watch a video together, also a new feature for Instagram, AR Camera, and shopping options.
Previously, Facebook had announced the introduction of the new dating feature, that will be introduced later, the feature is yet to be introduced since it is currently under testing in different countries. This will be one of the interesting features to try.
Facebook might seem to focus on the design, something that is arguably not important in fighting security, however, Mark has mentioned paying more attention focuses on security and other areas like the Private conversations, encryption, reduced permanence, user safety and more.
