Twitter CEO Admits to being “Too Aggressive” in Recent Twitter Purges

Over time Twitter has been actively banning accounts in the name of security online. Accounts were fully banned due to hate speech, harassment or any other violation of twitter rules, however, the CEO Jack Dorsey has acknowledged that Twitter might have been too harsh in the exercise.

Twitter Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde acknowledged and said it will learn from the mistake and rectify where necessary.

Twitter has been accused over time of allowing bias activities and being quick to ban rightful accounts.

Twitter has been accused by the governments – from the US to India – of allowing political bias to flourish on its platform while banning certain right-wing or conservative accounts hurriedly.
