Safaricom has been ranked top 10 most valuable firm in Africa Commanding a market capitalization of KSh 996.6 billion, according to South African based African Business that ranked 250 companies in the content based on the score of their market capitalization as of April 9, 2020.

According to the report, Safaricom, improved from the 14th position to the 10th position where it had been in 2019.

Other Kenyan companies that were listed in the report are Equity Bank, EABL, KCB and Coop Bank which were ranked in positions 82, 90, 92 and 110 respectively
