Netflix has announced plans to role out its audio streaming technology in order to boost sound depending on the user’s internet connection.
For this, Netflix has now increased the bitrate range for the 5.1-channel audio to a maximum of 640 kbps from that of 192 kbps. For the Dolby Atmos it has increased the largest to 768 kbps, this technology allows users to stream content on Netflix with a with limited buffer.
Sound been an essential element in movies, Netflix over time has struggled with the improvements of the sound after receiving complaints from the users. The improved sound has now started to replace the previous as a way to boast Netflix technology.
Having a static sound, leads to suboptimal playback experiences with fluctuating network conditions. Having this new technology will adjust with the network capabilities to give the best experience.
