The management of a Luo Council of Elders splinter group expects the spouse of late Kibra MP Ken Okoth, Monica, to be inherited according to the traditions of the community.
After the MP’s death, the group’s chairperson, Nyandiko Ongadi, will fulfill Luo’s cultural desires.
The elder also said that Mrs. Okoth should visit the home of her husband together with the family to conduct certain rituals.
He asserted that because Mr Okoth’s body was not buried, the rituals would be essential.
