Joe Mwangi, the manager of Wendy Waeni, an 11-year-old acrobatic performer, is not new to a series of crisis.
Over time, Local celebrities and tweeps have challenged Joe Mwangi, following posts on Wendy’s social media.
According to Wendy Waeni on yesterday interview with Jeff Koinange, she is not aware of what happens on her social media and Joe has been responsible for burning the bridges.
According to Wendy, the manager took advantage of her vulnerability causing dramas online, to add on, she mentioned she has performed globally but has never received any payment for that neither her parent have.
It has been revealed that despite the cozy life that Wendy showed online, she has lived in Huruma, one of the low-end estates with her mother hawking sweets in CBD to make a living.
On a tweet believed to originate from Joe’s account, he has made communications with the authority to give his side of the story, however, Kenyans have not spared him.
On early morning tweets, Joe has claimed, that he has never accompanied the celebrity at any venue outside Kenya. and the minor is only ”Lying on National TV for fame”
On a recent crisis, his posts on Wendi’s wall accused Jalango of fleecing cash from Wendy triggered social media ripples.
Following the drama, social media users came out to appeal to Joe to own up to his actions. They requested that he reach out to Jalang’o and everyone else he had undermined to apologize.
In February this year Joseph Mwangi, alias Mwas Joe, was accused of conning a city woman identified as Wairimu of Sh21,500.
Wairimu said she met him on social media and became friends and later exchanged contacts with him. After checking his profiles, she felt convinced he was a legit person after finding out he was the manager of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s favorite acrobat.
