Socialite-turned entrepreneur Huddah Monroe is on the September issue of the fashion magazine for American women, Harper’s Bazaar.
The director of Huddah Cosmetics discussed living in Los Angeles with the author of Crazy Rich Asians, Kevin Kwan.
Huddah, 27, is in a Michael Kors Collection jacket and dress on the cover of the magazine, a Hermès bag, Jimmy Choo sandals on a Martone Cycling Co. motorcycle.
She talked about growing up in the ghetto and sometimes going without food.
“I grew up in a beautiful setting,” she said to Kwan, adding, “The only thing we had was poverty. Food was the only thing we did not have. I realized from a young era that I wanted to be an autonomous lady, and I saw an chance to start my own company and assist other females feel lovely. “She also speaks about her plans to open a U.S. store in LA for her 2019 Huddah Cosmetics lipsticks and darker skin tone eye shadow palettes.
How has life been for beauty in the States, she’s been questioned.
“L.A. It’s become so international, so welcoming. It provides me the opportunity to dress. It’s like going to a display of prizes every day.
