After the shooting rampage in two mosques in Christchurch, Facebook has announced that so far it has removed over 1.5 Million videos from the platform within the first 24 hours of the attack.

In a statement issued by Facebook spokesperson Mia Garlick, it stated that the company is working round the clock to make sure that no violating content is to be seen on the platform and so far more than 1.2 million users have been blocked from posting the disturbing videos.
