Facebook, Instagram Somehow Restored After suffering the longest Outage in History

    For over 14 hours, Facebook and Instagram suffered the most severe outage in history, however some parts of the world still map out complains as the shortcomings are still happening.

    The outage becomes a unique one after the social platforms suffered a similar occurrence in 2008 where Facebook had over 150m users around the globe, now the social site hosts over 2.3bn monthly users globally.

    The issues were first reported at around Wednesday 11pm where reports from users around the globe reported issues across the platforms where they mentioned that the services were limited and required maintenance.

    To clear the issue Facebook and Instagram took to Twitter and stated that it is aware of the issue assessing the family of apps and they are working on it.

    We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.— Facebook (@facebook) March 13, 2019

    However Instagram took later on Twitter stating that they are back.

    Facebook was first introduced in 2014 where it was first launched in Harvard when the World Wide Web was just 15 Years then. At this age, the WWW celebrates 30Years of existence.
